Mailbox Monday: April 10, 2017

Welcome to Mailbox Monday created over at To Be Continued, formerly The Printed Page which has found a permanent home at its own blog. To check out what everyone has received over the last week, visit the blog, check out the links, and link back to your post.

This past week was spring break for the schools around here. That means I didn’t have as much time for my usual reading because I was spending it with my kids. I’m totally good with that. They’re a fun little bunch to spend time with. Plus, some of that time together we were reading aloud, and we also spent a lot of time at the library since they had lots of fun activities. Gotta love the library. But, without further ado, here’s what books I got last week.

Books I acquired:

Bought:

This one has been on my list for a while now, so when I saw it had gone on sale, I had to pick it up. I must say, I’m a total sucker for princess stories which is exactly what this is. Even better, she hunts down criminals at night and is now going to help stop a war. Definitely sounds like my type of book. Can’t wait to read it!

Ever since I finished God of the Sun I have wanted to read this. I’m excited it’s out now so I can dive in. It might just be my next read.

What books have you gotten over the last week?

Leave a comment or link up, and I’ll check them out.

  1. It’s Spring over here now. You do got to love the library. One of the best places on Earth.
Cage of Deceit sounds like other books I’ve read. The princess saving the day isn’t totally usual however.
I got Alice in Wonderland at the library. The version I picked up has really pretty illustrations. Also, Judy Moody and the Mood Martian. I’m feeling very much like a kid right now.
